Letter: A few things that reading can lead to

A recent letter writer expressed concern about drag queens reading to children. Reading to children is of course dangerous: it can lead to education, which is the first step down a slippery slope away from anti-vaxerism, trickle-down economics, creationism, climate-change denial, and other pillars of modern Republican orthodoxy. I encourage the writer to work with our congressman to sponsor a nationwide ban on the insidious practice of reading to children.
